Roll Dann is a DJ and producer from Madrid who grew up in the heyday of the cassette tape. With very few releases for sale—AINE on Pole Group and 2 releases on Modularz—the young producer has managed to captivate the ears of SOMA with his style.

Roll Dann keeps his productions centered and focused on the dancefloor, maintaining power and a firm direction.

Roll Dann has been in contact with sounds since his father bought him his first mixer at the age of 12. By the time he was 15, he was influenced by the harder rhythms derived from Techno, specifically Hardtechno-Schranz. For several years, raves shaped his understanding of that harsh, destructive sound that swept through Spain between 2005 and 2010.

In 2013, he moved to Berlin in search of the techno mecca and the best training. There, he discovered a culture at a level previously unknown to him. Over three years, that conceptual Techno made sense to him and enriched him with every party night in the city, while he studied technical and technological aspects. Thanks to this, he discovered new avenues of evolution, which led him to feel compelled to contribute with his own sounds.

Once ready, he returned to Spain to set up his own professional studio. He now invests all his time there, fully dedicating himself to building his sophisticated vision of Techno. His perfectionist nature and the influence of what he experienced drive him to always aim for highly polished, professional work.

Here, his aggressive and rock-solid yet tender and immersive style was born.
